Title: The fusion of Global, Macro and Micro aesthetics

Abstract:

“Whether assessing an existing dentition or designing a new smile, a systematic approach to esthetics evaluation is essential. Global esthetics covers the interrelationship between the face, lips, gingiva and teeth as a single collective framework, while macro and micro esthetics set the parameters as we aim to replicate form and nature. This lecture will focus on how to evaluate and define these esthetics parameters in a simple, yet comprehensive approach utilizing highresolution photography “
Objective:
• Learn to assess the specific aesthetic concern of your patient
• Learn about photo images needed to evaluate the aesthetic zone
• Learn how to communicate with your ceramist using photography
• Learn how to trick the eye visually by adjusting translucencies, line angels and staining, to change crown proportion.

Title: Evidence based clinical practice guideline on antibiotic use on urgent cases associated with pain and swelling resulting from endodontic cases

Abstract:

A systematic review and formulated clinical recommendations for the urgent management of  endodontic cases was conducting by an expert panel that convened by the American Dental Association Council on Scientific Affairs and the center of evidence based Dentistry that endodontic cases associated with pain or swelling such as symptomatic irreversible pulpitis with or without symptomatic apical periodontitis, pulp necrosis and symptomatic apical periodontitis, or pulp necrosis and localized acute apical abscess using antibiotics, either alone or as adjuncts to definitive, conservative dental treatment (DCDT) in immunocompetent adult1,2,3.Dentists and physicians often prescribe antibiotics to relieve dental pain and intraoral swelling. General and specialty dentists are the third highest prescribers of antibiotics in all outpatient settings in the United States 4 . o detect cases and n addition, reports from 2017 through 2019 suggest that 30% through 85% of dental antibiotic prescriptions are “suboptimal or not indicated.”5, 6, 7 Owing to major public health and cost-related concerns, the appropriate use of antibiotics has become a critical issue in the health care agenda.Although a number of countries and clinical practice guideline development groups have produced recommendations on the use of systemic antibiotics to treat pulpal and periapical infections,8, 9, 10, 11, 12 there are no guidelines from the American Dental Association (ADA) for dentists in the United States. Many national and international agencies, including the US federal government and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, have joined forces with the ADA to help prevent a postantibiotic era in which antibiotics will no longer be effective in treating bacterial infections.

Title: SiXDEVICE™: VISUAL HARMONY FOR GLOBAL FUNCTIONALITY

Abstract:

Presentation of an innovative approach to system functionality through the visual gate with immediate effects of freedom on the craniocervical-mandibular complex, treated cases will be presented.Sensory inefficiencies alter the coherence of incoming information to our senses. The resulting effect is compensation leading to overuse, discomfort, pain, attention and sustainability. This emanates in a constant search for a better position and balance to improve body function. It is possible to observe the immediate sensory and motor efferent responses along the trigeminal pathway when visual information is altered.SiXDEVICE™ is a pattern addressed to the qualitative aspects of the system, with configurations of repeatable and systematic relationships in the circuit of sensory information. Philosophy considers how to process information in the functional relationship of the visual receptor along the path of the trigeminal nerve, of the motor nuclei and of the trigeminal sensory nuclear complex (TSNC). The method considers how to correctly evaluate and interpret the symptoms as a consequence of the inefficiency of the sensory system. It addresses timing and sequence problems that cannot be achieved with other methods, improving system processing relationships and freeing the body from rigid patterns to allow the person to receive and use multisensory information.

How does it work:

The Device opens to communication through the harmonization of visual information, making the system functional, intelligent and capable to improve attention, reducing energy expenditure and recovering the resources. It aligns itself with the threshold of the acceptance of any rigidly organized sensory system (dysfunctional) to regulate and harmonize visual information management and to reorganize basic functions. It modulates the sensory information leading to a new perceptual organization and sensory learning experience without affecting structural change. It helps to optimize respiratory function, biomechanical performance, and multisensory management through improved: regulation of muscular tone, range of motion (ROM), mouth opening (TMJ), dental occlusion, tongue position and breath management, muscle strength and coordination to regain homeostasis. This can be assessed based on systemic predictions versus systemic reactive responses to stimuli. It provides professionals a tool to facilitate change via neural plasticity in teaching new information to their patients. Is the logical access port to assess the sensory system though its procedures and methods of use, and it works with the patient’s skills to improve their system self-regulation.The described method is supported by an innovative Neuroscientific and Psychophysiological investigation of the SIXDEVICE in collaboration with the Research Unit in Affective and Social Neuroscience and the Department of Psychology at Cattolica University of Milan. The study aims to scientifically validate the device, explore the modulation of visual, motor and somatosensory responses, as well as harmonize them as integrated systems.

Biography:

Marco Grassi is an optometrist-expert in visual harmony to recover the sensory-creator experience of SiXDEVICE ™ sensory prisms. He has been dealing with prevention and visual education for 30 years, since 1995 he has used his knowledge by designing and creating tools for this purpose. they are known as VTE instruments that are present in laboratories and 19 international universities. He is the owner and manager of the Family Vision Center-VTE dedicated to the prevention and recovery of the system's efficiency to make it capable of self-organization and sustainable. He created and coordinates a scientific committee of international specialists using the SiXDEVICE™ method to produce case reports, articles in the various application fields of the method.
