Title: The fusion of Global, Macro and Micro aesthetics

Abstract:

“Whether assessing an existing dentition or designing a new smile, a systematic approach to esthetics evaluation is essential. Global esthetics covers the interrelationship between the face, lips, gingiva and teeth as a single collective framework, while macro and micro esthetics set the parameters as we aim to replicate form and nature. This lecture will focus on how to evaluate and define these esthetics parameters in a simple, yet comprehensive approach utilizing highresolution photography “
Objective:
• Learn to assess the specific aesthetic concern of your patient
• Learn about photo images needed to evaluate the aesthetic zone
• Learn how to communicate with your ceramist using photography
• Learn how to trick the eye visually by adjusting translucencies, line angels and staining, to change crown proportion.
