Dr. Rajamani Lakshminarayanan is a Principal Investigator at the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI), Singapore, with extensive expertise in biomaterials, antimicrobial polymers, peptides, and ocular infectious diseases. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the National University of Singapore and completed postdoctoral research as a Singapore Millennium Foundation Fellow before further advancing his training at the University of Southern California, USA. Since joining SERI in 2009, he has led multidisciplinary research focused on developing innovative antimicrobial materials, biocompatible coatings for medical devices, hydrogel-based biomaterials, and therapeutic strategies for eye infections and protein aggregation diseases. Dr. Yan Ning (Johnson) Neo is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with expertise in cornea, external eye disease, cataract, refractive surgery, and emergency ophthalmology. He completed his medical degree in the United Kingdom and underwent specialist ophthalmology training in London, followed by advanced fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, one of the world's leading eye hospitals. Dr. Neo has received numerous national and international awards for excellence in clinical care, research, medical education, and leadership. His research focuses on corneal diseases, ocular surface disorders, population eye health, digital medicine, and healthcare innovation. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has contributed significantly to quality improvement initiatives and population health strategies aimed at reducing preventable visual impairment. Prof. Dr. Dr. Farhad Hafezi, MD, PhD, FARVO, is an internationally renowned ophthalmologist, corneal surgeon, and clinical researcher specializing in corneal diseases, refractive surgery, and corneal collagen cross-linking (CXL). He serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director of the ELZA Institute in Dietikon, Zurich, Switzerland, and is recognized as one of the pioneers responsible for the clinical development and worldwide adoption of corneal cross-linking for the treatment of keratoconus, post-LASIK ectasia, and infectious keratitis (PACK-CXL). Dr. Faisal Fayyad is a distinguished Senior Vitreoretinal Surgeon and Consultant Ophthalmologist at Jordan Hospital (Jordanian Hospital), Amman, Jordan. He earned his medical degree from Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, in 1976 and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the same institution with honors between 1977 and 1981. He subsequently completed a two-year Clinical Retina Fellowship at the University of Ottawa, Canada, specializing in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. Dr. Fayyad has served at the Jordanian Ministry of Health hospitals, King Hussein Medical Center, and Jordan University Hospital before joining Jordan Hospital.
