Arwa A Daghrery
Daghrery is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences at Jazan University. Before joining Jazan University, she was an adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Cariology, Restorative Sciences, and Endodontics at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She received her Bachelor of Dental Medicine and Surgery (BDS) degree from King Abdulaziz University (KSA), Advanced clinical training and master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry (Ann Arbor, MI. USA), and her Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in Oral Health Sciences track of Tissue Engineering, Biofabrication and Materials Science from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Daghrery's research focuses on the design and synthesis of tissue scaffolds, drug delivery systems, and stem cell therapies to regenerate dental, oral, and craniofacial tissues. Her current research interests include the development of multiphasic and tissue-specific scaffolds for periodontal tissue regeneration and drug delivery systems for ablating oral infections by applying biofabrication, electrospinning, and 3D printing principles.
