Paris is the capital and the most elegant and populous city in France. Paris can be seen as the most fascinating city in Europe and potentially one of the most impressive in the world. People from all over the world are heading to Paris to explore and experience this fairy-like environment. Paris is gorgeous every season. The overall climate is mild and moderately rainy throughout the year. Paris is a town of beauty, creativity, art and fashion. Tourism in Paris is a major income source. Paris received 12.6 million visitors in 2020, measured by hotel stays, a drop of 73 percent from 2019, due to the COVID-19 virus. The number of foreign visitors declined by 80.7 percent. Museums re-opened in 2021, with limitations on the number of visitors at a time and a requirement that visitors wear masks.

In 2018, 17.95 million international, overnighting tourists visited the city, mainly for sightseeing and shopping (and estimated to be well over double if including domestic overnighting visitors). How to reach the Paris City? 

By Plane: 

Three sizable airports are close to Paris. The airport of Charles de Gaulle is located 30 kilometres from Paris. Flights arrive from locations outside of Europe. The second airport, Orly, is located 18 kilometres from Paris. The majority of European flights utilise it. Another airport, Beauvais Tillé, is located 80 kilometres from Paris. Low cost flights land here.

By Train: 

Train travel to Paris is simple and well-connesed by both transatlantic and European flights. cted from other European cities. You can get here using an express train from Europe. 

By Bus:  

Paris has an extremely sophisticated public transportation system. Here, you can use the Metro metro system, RER, Regional Express, and buses. A well-developed metro system connects the city's urban regions. 300 stations are located along 16 metro lines. To take a tour of popular tourist attractions, board tour bus number 72. One may travel here via commuter train or RER B3 from CDG Airport. You can also get here by using the bus RATP 351. Express shuttle bus services are also offered from Beauvais Airport. RER B or bus RATP 183 can be used to get here from Orly Airport.
