Paris is one of the most expensive cities to visit in Europe. Whilst there are cheap and free activities, the city is famous for its art galleries and fine dining that you won't want to miss completely when visiting Paris. People call Paris “the City of Love” because of the romantic atmosphere it exudes. The schooling culture in Paris emphasizes academic excellence and usually allows the teacher to preside over their domain with little input from parents. This may be difficult for ex-pats to adjust to, and parents would do well to discuss these differences with their children before they enter into the schooling system.

By Plane: Three sizable airports are close to Paris. The airport of Charles de Gaulle is located 30 kilometres from Paris. Flights arrive from locations outside of Europe. The second airport, Orly, is located 18 kilometres from Paris. The majority of European flights utilise it. Another airport, Beauvais Tillé, is located 80 kilometres from Paris. Low-cost flights land here.

By Train: Train travel to Paris is simple and well-connected by both transatlantic and European flights. cited from other European cities. You can get here using an express train from Europe. 

By Bus:  Paris has an extremely sophisticated public transportation system. Here, you can use the Metro metro system, RER, Regional Express, and buses. A well-developed metro system connects the city's urban regions. 300 stations are located along 16 metro lines. To take a tour of popular tourist attractions, board tour bus number 72. One may travel here via commuter train or RER B3 from CDG Airport. You can also get here by using the bus RATP 351. Express shuttle bus services are also offered from Beauvais Airport. RER B or bus RATP 183 can be used to get here from Orly Airport.
