Biography: Sarah is a highly qualified Nursing professional with over 20 years’ experience and is currently a Deputy Director of Nursing at the Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. She has a proven track record of inspiring and visionary leadership, achieving patient centered healthcare improvements across primary and secondary care services. Sarah has a vast amount of experience adapting workforce roles, skills and competencies to meet the needs of the patients and organizations which she has served. Throughout her career she has been committed to meet these challenges by driving improvement; empowering staff and engaging stakeholders and is keen to utilise new technologies to upskill the workforces’ knowledge and skills with simulation and virtual reality. Sarah has recently successfully completed a national NHS leadership Academy Award in Executive Healthcare Leadership and won a national award from the Nursing Times for leading and implementing innovative workforce redesign initiatives
