Dr. Fawz Alotaibi
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from King Saud University at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. After graduating, Dr. Alotaibi relocated to the United States to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internship and Residency program at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in Miami, FL from 2013 to 2018. Following his residency training, he advanced his surgical training through two years of fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at LSU Health Shreveport, La, graduating from this specialized training in 2020.
Further enriching his knowledge and expertise, he completed his Master of Biomedical Sciences in Cellular Biology and Anatomy from LSU Health Sciences Center at Shreveport, LA in 2023. He has been American Board Certified with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 2020. Dr. Alotaibi also achieved board certification with the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery and holds Certificate of Added Qualification. Most recently, he became board certified with the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology in 2023. Dr. Alotaibi currently holds a position as an Assistant Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU Health Shreveport, where he focuses on Head and Neck Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction, facial trauma, Osteoradionecrosis, MRONJ, orthognathic surgery, dental implants and dentoalveolar surgery performed with IV sedation.
