Prof. Catherine Mounier is a Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), Canada, and an internationally recognized researcher in molecular biology, lipid metabolism, obesity, diabetes, and metabolic health. She earned her B.Sc. in Biochemistry, M.Sc. in Molecular Chemistry, and Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Rennes I, France, followed by postdoctoral training at the University of Iowa and McGill University. She joined UQAM in 2003 and has held several academic leadership positions, including Chair of the Department of Biological Sciences (2012–2015) and Vice-Rector for Research and Creative Activities (2015–2020).

Dr. Mirna Schioler is a researcher affiliated with the University of Wollongong, Australia, with interests in public health, metabolic disorders, chronic disease prevention, and evidence-based healthcare. Dr. Viola Pomozi is a molecular biologist and research scientist at the HUN-REN Research Centre for Natural Sciences in Budapest, Hungary. She obtained her PhD in Molecular Biology from Eötvös Loránd University and has been a member of the Research Centre for Natural Sciences since 2005. From 2015 to 2018, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii, where she conducted research on ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter proteins and pathological tissue calcification.

Dr. Mukesh Edavalath is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Roganidana (Clinical Diagnosis) at Vaidyaratnam P. S. Varier Ayurveda College, Kottakkal, Kerala, India. He earned his Master's degree (MD Ayurveda) from Kannur University and previously served with the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine, Government of Kerala. Alongside his academic responsibilities, he is an active clinician and medical educator dedicated to promoting evidence-based Ayurvedic practice.

Marie Wallace, MA, LPC is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in the psychological and emotional aspects of Type 1 diabetes in children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She earned her bachelor's degree from Smith College and a master's degree from The University of Texas at Austin. Drawing from both her professional expertise and personal experience as an individual living with Type 1 diabetes, she is dedicated to helping patients and families navigate the emotional challenges associated with diabetes management.

Dr. Marc Baget  is a clinician-scientist and ophthalmologist affiliated with Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), Spain. His academic and clinical work focuses on ophthalmology, retinal diseases, ocular imaging, and the diagnosis and management of vision-threatening disorders. He contributes to postgraduate education and supervises doctoral research in ophthalmology, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to advance clinical innovation and translational eye research. His research interests include retinal pathology, medical and surgical ophthalmology, and the development of evidence-based approaches to improve patient outcomes. Through his clinical practice, teaching, and scientific contributions, Dr. Baget has played an active role in promoting excellence in ophthalmic care and vision science at both national and international levels.

Dr. Bennett Peter is a consultant physician specializing in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolic Medicine at The James Cook University Hospital, United Kingdom. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of diabetes mellitus, thyroid disorders, obesity, adrenal and pituitary diseases, and other endocrine conditions. He is actively involved in delivering evidence-based patient care and contributes to multidisciplinary approaches aimed at improving outcomes for individuals with complex metabolic disorders. Dr. Peter has a strong interest in medical education, clinical research, and the implementation of innovative therapeutic strategies in endocrinology. He regularly participates in national and international scientific meetings, sharing expertise on advances in diabetes care, endocrine disorders, and metabolic health.

Prof. Sima A. Hamadeh is a Full Professor of Public Health Nutrition and Program Coordinator of the Nutrition Sciences and Dietetics program at Haigazian University, Lebanon. She also serves as a senior lecturer in the Nutrition Master's programs at Saint Joseph University. She earned her M.Sc. in Community Nutrition and Ph.D. in Public Health Nutrition from the Université de Montréal, Canada, followed by postdoctoral training in Science Journalism and Communication at Northwestern University. Her academic achievements have been recognized with several international awards, including the Emerald Literati Network Award for Excellence and the Prix d'Excellence Scientifique Franco-Libanais

Hsinlin Thomas Cheng, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Director of the Headache and Neuropathic Pain Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. He earned his MD from Taipei Medical University and a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. He completed his neurology residency at Wayne State University, followed by clinical fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and research fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medical College before joining Massachusetts General Hospital in 2013.
