Cosmetology is the study and application of beauty treatments including skin care, cosmetics, hairstyling, manicures and pedicures, cosmetic surgeries, enhancements, etc., whereas, Trichology is that branch of dermatology that deals with the scientific study of the health of the hair and scalp.

Acne
It is caused when blocked skin follicles from a plug caused by oil from glands, bacteria, and dead cells clump together and swell.

Alopecia Areata
It is a condition that attacks your hair follicles (they make hair). In most cases, hair falls out in small, round patches.

Scleroderma
Scleroderma causes patches of tight, hard skin, but can also harm your blood vessels and organs. Learn the causes and treatments of this skin disease.

Pachyonychia Congenita
It is a rare disorder causing thick nails and painful calluses on the bottoms of the feet and other symptoms..

Rosacea
It is a long-term disease that causes reddened skin and pimples, usually on the face. It can also make the skin thicker and cause eye problems.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion works to remove age spots and lighter acne scars. The procedure is one of the favorite wrinkle treatments because it is performed quickly in a facial esthetics office. The physician uses a handheld instrument to spray small crystals onto the surface of the skin. The crystals exfoliate the skin layers, while using suction simultaneously to remove the crystals and dead skin cells. More than one microdermabrasion treatment may be needed for wrinkle removal and other skin treatments it provides.
Laser Resurfacing
laser skin resurfacing removes the outer layers of the skin that are damaged. The laser resurfacingprocedure stimulates the production of collagen and new skin cells in the underlying layers of the skin. Laser resurfacing is now used to eliminate or reduce wrinkles and fine lines on the face and neck.

Androgenic alopecia: This is the most common type of alopecia associated with male pattern baldness and female pattern baldness resulting in permanent hair loss.
Seborrheic dermatitis( oily scalp): Not only dry scalp but oiliness in the scalp also is a leading cause of dandruff and marked by greasy, red skin covered with yellow or white flaky scales.
Alopecia areata: This is due to your own immune cells attacking your hair follicles, due to which you lose hair in the form of round patches all over your body and scalp. In this type of hair loss, the hair may grow back again but falls again.

Hair transplantation is a surgical technique that moves hair follicles from a part of the body called the 'donor site' to a bald or balding part of the body known as the 'recipient site'. It is primarily used to treat male pattern baldness. In this minimally invasive procedure, grafts containing hair follicles that are genetically resistant to balding, (like the back of the head) are transplanted to the bald scalp. There are two primary techniques for hair transplantation currently in use. The FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) and the FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation) methods. They differ primarily in the way hair follicles are extracted from the donor area.

Injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) is a type of temporary dermal filler. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally through out the body, with the highest concentrations in the joints, eyes, and skin. In the skin hyaluronic acid attracts water, which allows the skin to become more hydrated. As we age, the fat, muscles, bone, and skin in our face begins to thin. This loss of volume leads to either a sunken or sagging appearance of the face, fine lines, wrinkles, folds, and thin lips. Injectable HA is used to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, facial folds, and to create structure, framework, and volume to the face and lips. The effects of injectable hyaluronic acid are seen immediately.
