Title: The Secrets of Fascial Tissue in Healing Chronic Pain

Abstract:

My journey of discovery into understanding chronic pain within clinical practice has led to over 2000 patients being successfully treated when traditional pain treatments were ineffective. The journey revealed the role of myofascial trigger points and tightened fascia needs to be released to allow physical therapies to be successful. The role of chronic inflammation was discovered and treated with the Hydro Trigger Point Injection (HydroTPI) technique in the most resistant cases. The role of the brain neuroplasticity to reprogram the limbic system was used with focused cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) with a personalised ACT type approach of Acceptance Commitment Therapy to empower patients with belief and action for positive results by balancing the dysfunctional autonomic nervous system (ANS) from a fear based flight flight pain response to the calming, healing, rest and repair response.

Title: Chronic Pain and the MindBody Connection

Abstract:

I had agonizing chronic pain for 25 years and I am happy to tell you that I have been pain free for 6 years now. Doctors told me that my pain and occasional paralysis was coming from the injuries I received after being mugged 3 times. A fractured skull, 2 broken vertebrae in my neck and 3 herniated discs! But I learned that all injuries heal. So why was I having pain 25 years later?? In my presentation I am going to show you how understanding the Mindbody connection alleviated all my physical issues. I want to tell you about a major paradigm shift in understating how the mind works, and how this was substantial enough for me and many of my clients to get considerable pain relief and for some, pain free.

Biography:

Chana Studley recovered from severe PTSD after 3 violent attacks in the UK and spent the next 25 years combining a very successful career in Hollywood with coaching and counseling people with trauma, addictions and relationship problems. Following the success of 5 case studies she developed a program called Painless and is now helping clients all over the world with all kinds of health issues and working with doctors and clinicians to introduce them to the Three Principles.
