This will be having sessions on Brain Tumour, Multiple Sclerosis, Neurofibromatosis, Parkinson's disease, and Movement Disorders, and its related subjects to establish a connection for exchanging ideas. The detailed agenda of Neuro Surgery will have keynote presentations, oral sessions, poster presentations, workshops, symposia, and young researchers’ forum.

Sessions

A Brain tumor is a mass or growth of abnormal cells in the brain. Many different types of brain tumors exist. Some brain tumors are noncancerous, and some brain tumors are cancerous. Brain tumors can begin in your brain primary brain tumors, or cancer can begin in other parts of your body and spread to your brain secondary, or metastatic, brain tumors. How quickly a brain tumor grows can vary greatly. The growth rate as well as the location of a brain tumor determines how it will affect the function of your nervous system

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a potentially disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord (central nervous system). In MS, the immune system attacks the protective sheath (myelin) that covers nerve fibers and causes communication problems between your brain and the rest of your body. Eventually, the disease can cause permanent damage or deterioration of the nerves

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to form on nerve tissue. These tumors can develop anywhere in your nervous system, including your brain, spinal cord and nerves. Neurofibromatosis is usually diagnosed in childhood or early adulthood. Neurofibromatosis treatment focuses on encouraging healthy growth and development in children affected with the disorder and early management of complications

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative disorder characterized primarily by loss of dopamine neurons in the substantia nigra. Symptoms generally develop on one body side slowly over years but the progression may differ from one person to another due to the diversity of the disease. Parkinsonism can also be symptomatic, as a result of various vascular, drug-related, infectious, toxic, structural and other known secondary causes

While fungal infections of the central nervous system (CNS) are relatively rare, they have become more common with the increasing number of individuals who are immunocompromised due to human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), immunosuppressive therapies, and organ transplants. CNS infection with non-aspergillus molds most commonly involve micromycetes, which typically affect the airways

Endovascular neurosurgery, also known as interventional neuroradiology (INR) and endovascular surgical neuroradiology (ESNR) is brain surgery performed from inside blood vessels. Doctors thread catheters through blood vessels, pass tiny instruments through the catheters and use those instruments to conduct the procedures.
