Associated Professor at University of Cordoba, clinical tutor for care practices, and coordinator of Neurological Practicum. Specialist in musculoskeletal system, invasive therapies, Osteopathy, myofascial therapy and craniosacral therapy, specialist in Postural Myofunctional Rehabilitation.With the objective of providing a highly professional treatment, Gema Len Physiotherapy aims for constant innovation and stays up to the date of the latest advances in healthcare and technology.

My life & work has been molded by social justice, learning, ecology & two decades of Higher Education, but remains forever rooted in the wisdom of clinical Practice: originally from NL I live on the Norwegian coast. Trained in physio in NL I trained in ‘doing’ over many clinical years (sports physiotherapy, manual therapy, chronic pain, refugee health) these professional journeys informing my present pedagogical, ethical and philosophical work. Based in Practice and Pedagogy I co lead learning at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) where I teach, lead our Bachelor and Masters in physiotherapy and take up role as program leader in physio.

This work spans our local, national and global Physio community: in the EPA Exec team, World Physio Ed Committee, and J Psych in PM Health’s Scientific Committee; on our team for multiple Europe-wide projects (Eramus+) exploring social justice in health, transformational learning and the role of the profession in the community; co leading transformative curriculum changes putting Critical Pedagogies, and co-learning and ecological understanding front and centre.

Leadership has always been ‘from’: derived from our relationships with students, each other and communities; from a shared commitment to critical action, deep learning, and courageous possibility, a process I describes as a ‘co-creative becoming’... My understanding of Management and Leadership draws on our connected nature: on the ‘in between’ we create – an, agile practice of becoming, situated in vast ecologies of ‘Care’; weaving together ideas of capability, resonance & multispecies ethics to make Physio truly 'response-able'.

Emma Swrdh is passionate about tackling health promotion and prevention through the lens of sustainable development which entails planetary health and sustainable health care. Furthermore, she harbours a personal research interest in education for sustainable development within the field of physiotherapy. Her absolutely favourite place in the world is in the forest.

About Mario Bizzini Mario Bizzini, PhD, MSc, PT is a research associate at the Human Performance Lab, Schulthess Clinic in Zürich (Switzerland), where he works since 35 years. He received a Master of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh (School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, 2001), and completed his PhD at the Oslo Sports Trauma and Research Center at the Norwegian School of Sports Sciences (2010). Mario was also involved during 14 years (2002-2016) with the FIFA Medical Research and Assessment Center (F-MARC).His research interests focus on prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries.

Mario has at today 145 peer-reviewed publications, 6 books, and 20 book chapters on these topics. He is Deputy Editor of the British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM) and on the Editorial Board of the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy (IJSPT). Mario, a former board member of the International Federation of Sports Physical Therapy (IFSPT), is currently the Vice-President of the Swiss Sport Physiotherapy Association (SSPA). He's a rehabilitation consultant for professional ice hockey and football/soccer teams, and has worked at three Olympic Games (2008, 2012, 2016), three FIFA World Cups (2006, 2010, 2014), and two FIFA Women's World Cups (2007, 2015).
