Global wind capacity need to at least double every yr to limit warming-GWEC

The world's wind industry installed a record 93 gigawatts (GW) of new capacity last year but at least double that amount is needed every year to limit global warming, a report by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) showed on Thursday.
