Biography: Gina Vega graduated as a Dental Surgeon in 1998 in Mexico City from Universidad Tecnologica de Mexico (UNITEC). She moved to London in 2001 and has been practicing dentistry in London since 2004 after re-qualifying in the UK. Dr. Vega is the owner and clinical director of Bishopsgate Dental Care, a multi-award winning private dental practice in Central London. She became a businesswoman in 2010 when she took over a bankrupt dental practice in the heart of London; for the last 9 years Gina has developed the practice, changed concepts and innovated patient care to achieve National recognition in the Dental industry. In the last 6 months, Bishopsgate Dental Care has been awarded ‘Best Practice London’ at The Dentistry Awards, ‘Best Patient Care London’ at The Private Dentistry Awards and ‘UK National Dental Team’ at The Dental Awards. The practice has also received several high commendations in the mentioned Awards. Dr. Vega herself received a high commendation as ‘Best Dentist 2019’ at The Dental Awards.

Biography: Asma Nastase-Battah started her career in high school, working as a dental assistant and for 4 years as a pedodontics. She is the head coordinator of the pediatric department at Dr. Leahu Dental Clinics and also the medical coordinator for Zana Merciluta, a mobile dental cabinet where children from poor rural areas and children with various illness receive free dental treatment. She has treated over 2000 of children during her career and each one allowed her to be a part of their smile.

Biography: Engy Adel Ahmed Farag has experience in the field of dentistry for over 14 years. She has been a teaching staff member for more than six years at the Faculty of Dentistry, British University in Egypt. She presented the BUE in the Dental American Prosthetics Society 90th annual meeting in Chicago, March 2018. She is a team member and a contributor in a dental research funded by the BUE. She has completed Ph.D. in Fixed Prosthodontics from Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, 2018; M.Sc. in Fixed Prosthodontics from Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University, 2010 and B.D.S from Faculty of Dentistry, Ain Shams University, 2003. Her main research concerns all recent and updates in dental ceramic materials and bioemulation.

Title: CAD/CAM implant planning for Fixed Prosthodontics with 3D printed surgical guides

Biography: Angelina Vlahova, DMD, PhD works in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University - Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry from 2007 and finished her Prosthodontics specialization in 2010. The same year became a PhD Student and had her final PhD defense before its term set after 2 years, in 2012. In 2013 she became a Chief Assistant Professor, in 2015 – an Associate Professor and in 2019 – a Professor. She wrote one monograph in English and another one in Bulgarian, three students textbooks – one in Bulgarian and two in English, more than 100 full text publications and has more than 90 oral and poster presentations, theoretical and practical educational courses. Prof. Vlahova has lecture course “CAD/CAM Technologies in Dentistry” for Vth course students – in English and in Bulgarian. Prof. Vlahova has her own private dental practice in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.

Biography: Sisira Ranasinghe is currently attached to the Institute of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Colombo, Sri Lanka as a Forensic Odontologist. He has completed M.Phil. in Forensic Odontology from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2005 and post graduate Diplomas in Dental Surgery and Forensic Odontology respectively from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka in 1996 and IFS, India in 2010. His first degree, Bachelor of Dental Surgery was awarded by the University of Peradeniya in 1986. He has experience in the arena of clinical dentistry over 30 years and forensic odontology for past 15 years as an expert in handling oral autopsies for forensic investigations. He has participated in many National and international conferences including USA, Australia, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. He was awarded a scholarship in 1999 for a course of Clinical dentistry in the University of Kyushu, Japan and for short term training in Forensic Odontology in Sydney Australia in 2012.

He is also a national and international speaker and represents the Aeronautical University Institute, where he is a Graduate Professor.
