Biography: Prof Dr Erik Strauss is a full professor of management accounting and control at the Witten/Herdecke University. His main research interests and publications are on the roles of management accountants, management control systems and management accounting change. He is also the academic director of the “Schmalenbach Working Group for Integrated Planning” which is focusing on the exchange of best practices between research and corporate practice.
